Scope
This policy covers SAHATEC’s company website, a Mauritanian business facilitating access to medicines. It explains how information related to visits and contact enquiries is handled. It is not the privacy policy for the mobile or web app’s services.

Applicable framework
This policy draws on the principles of Mauritanian Law no. 2017-020 of 22 July 2017 on personal data protection. The Personal Data Protection Authority (APD) is the competent authority in Mauritania. Publishing this policy does not replace any required formalities with the APD.
Information you provide
The form requests your name, an email address or phone number, the subject and content of your message, your consent and the language used. The visible fields are required to send an enquiry; without them it cannot be submitted. You may also contact us by phone. Do not send prescriptions, diagnoses or any other health data through this form.
Technical data
The form uses the IP address to limit abusive submissions. Technical services may also process connection information and error logs needed to operate and secure the website. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts: that service receives the technical information required to load them, including the IP address.
Use and consent
Your information is used to answer questions, partnership enquiries and pharmacy registration enquiries, and to secure the website. Responding to your enquiry relies on the consent given before submitting the form. You may withdraw it by contacting us, without affecting processing already carried out. The form does not subscribe you to an advertising list; SAHATEC does not sell information received through this channel.
Access and service providers
Authorised SAHATEC personnel handling your enquiry may access the information received. Hosting, email and maintenance providers may process the data needed for their tasks. When form delivery is enabled, messages pass through the Resend email service and are delivered to SAHATEC’s destination mailbox. Disclosure may also be required by a legal obligation or a competent authority.
Retention
Enquiries are retained for the time needed to handle them and follow up exchanges, subject to applicable legal obligations. The exact retention periods for messages and technical logs remain to be confirmed by SAHATEC and its providers. This policy therefore does not promise automatic deletion by a specific date. You may request deletion under the conditions set out by law.
Processing outside Mauritania
Hosting, email or font loading may involve processing outside Mauritania. The countries, retention periods and safeguards actually applicable must be confirmed with providers. SAHATEC must check the legal conditions and APD formalities for the transfers concerned; this policy is not a transfer authorisation.
Security
The site uses HTTPS, field validation and protections against automated submissions. These measures reduce risks but cannot guarantee absolute security. Do not send sensitive data through the form. If you suspect an incident affecting your information, contact SAHATEC.
Your rights
Under the conditions of Mauritanian law, you may request information about processing, access to your data, corrections, object to processing or request deletion where applicable. Contact SAHATEC by phone or through the form, explaining your request. A proportionate identity check may be needed; do not send an identity document without being asked. Requests are handled in line with legal requirements, without a numerical response deadline stated here.
Complaints to the APD

Cookies and external services
The site includes no advertising or audience measurement tool configured by SAHATEC. Any addition of non-essential trackers must be accompanied by information and prior consent. Links to Facebook, WhatsApp, Google Maps, Google Play, the App Store or the web app lead to separate services with their own policies. Clicking these links does not send your form content to those services.
